Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Finished Carpenter role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and finish cabinetry, trim, molding, doors, windows, and other detailed woodwork according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate installation and completion of projects.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform final finishing work, ensuring all installations meet company and client standards.
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report material shortages, project concerns, or safety issues to supervisors.
- Assist with additional carpentry and construction tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Finish Carpenter required.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, trim installation, cabinetry, and finish work.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
