Job description:

We are looking for a commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal foreman or installers with at least 2 years HVAC/Sheet Metal experience. The duties for the journeyman position include:

• Layout, measure, and mark out dimensions
• Assemble and install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning duct work
• Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering
• Assemble and install HVAC equipment
• Work off of sheet metal shop drawings and plans to install duct work and equipment
• Take field measurements, calculate offsets, and perform layouts
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Additional requirements for candidates interested in a foreman position:

• Collaborate with the project manager to insure appropriate manpower and material
• Manage and direct HVAC/Sheet Metal crews
• Conduct safety inspections and pre-task plans
• Attend weekly meetings with general contractor/owner
• Daily task assignment for all crew members
• Daily reports and timecards
