Pest Technician

Perform pest management services for residential customers, including inspections, treatments, and customer education in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales, and expand product offerings to new customers.
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company‑provided service vehicle; routine maintenance is provided.

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
• Work around animals, insects and termites.
• Handle mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals as safely trained.
• Work both inside and outside in local climate in company‑provided weather gear.
• Move frequently — sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

• Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers require a good seal).
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by the company).
• Available to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.
