Job Description:We're looking for someone to join our mechanical insulation team! We're seeking an experienced mechanical insulator. JRT works in a wide variety of commercial and industrial industries with projects that include food processing, large warehouses, schools, wastewater treatment plants, general commercial structures, refrigeration facilities and manufacturing plants to name a few. The job duties will include:
- Measure and cut insulation for covering pipe, duct & equipment
- Remove worn, damaged, or old insulation from pipe, duct& equipment.
- Determine the amount and types of insulation needed, and bestmethodof installation.
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
- Operator scissor lifts be comfortable working in heights
- Material handling
- Moving material around the job site. - Housekeeping
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area on the job.

Pay: $28- $45.00 per hour DOE
JRT Also performs work on state and federal projects that fall under prevailing wage laws with packages in the $80-$90 an hour range.
