Looking for a mechanic position that offers variety? This is it!

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair rental equipment and vehicles. Duties include but are not limited to performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, from landscape equipment to large construction equipment; experience with small engines, gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, some fabricating and fleet vehicles; inspecting work to ensure repairs and replacement have been completed correctly;

maintaining a safe and clean workspace; and the ability to conduct occasional field service calls.

• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
• Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.)
• Keep logs of work and report on issues

• Proven experience as Mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
• Very good communication skills
• A problem-solving ability

Applicant must be willing and able to learn a variety of tasks, work indoors and outdoors, be able to lift 75-100 lbs., be dependable, able to work Saturdays, and possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Salary DOQ plus benefits.
