Position: CIRC - Resident Services Coordinator (Auburn & Federal Way, WA)

Job Overview

Temporary Part‑Time position (approximately 4 months, 24 hours per week) located at the Auburn Court Senior Affordable Apartments in Auburn, WA and the Meridian Court Senior Affordable Apartments in Federal Way, WA. Pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach, education, connection, and navigation of resources, supporting community engagement for residents living independently in senior or family housing.
  • Create collaborative relationships with residents, property managers, and community providers to support independent living.
  • Develop and grow a network of contacts with service providers and agencies for resident referrals.
  • Identify residents’ needs and educate them on available services, assisting them in applying for resources.
  • Work with housing managers to empower residents to age in place and remain as independent and self‑reliant as possible.
  • Utilize agency database to track resident engagements (progress notes, care plans, referrals made, follow‑up dates).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or human services, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Approachable, friendly demeanor with sensitivity to various interpersonal styles.
  • Direct experience providing services to low‑income households, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities, including information and referral services preferably in a housing setting.
  • Experience navigating local/county/state systems (DSHS, Medicare/Medicaid, mental health, etc.) and community resources with positive outcomes.
  • Proven service‑management experience, including organizing, problem‑solving, and advocating.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort working independently while being part of a larger team.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
