Youth Volleyball Coach

Do you love sports and want to coach youth? The Clark County Family YMCA is looking for passionate and skilled youth coach to join our growing volleyball program. We are specifically looking for a coach that has experience as a volleyball player and experience working with young players. The individual could also find more hours participating in other enrichment activities and potential for more hours growing our volleyball program more through our Rec.

The Clark County Family YMCA are seeking enthusiastic coaches and counselors to facilitate and work to build skill and confidence for youth registered for Clark County Family after school enrichment activities.

Job Responsibilities The coaches are responsible for executing YMCA curriculum while bringing your own fun games and activities in a safe environment for all registered participants. The hours currently are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00-7:45 during the spring. Potential for more hours as the program continues to grow.

• Facilitate sport clinic style curriculum
• Instruct participants in systemic performance programming to address individual and/or teams needs
• Establish positive relationships players and parents
• Provide safe and clean environment for children
• Supervise children on a regular basis

• Pass a YMCA Background Check
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Preferred diverse sports background (playing and/or coaching)
• This is a part-time position with 5-10 hrs. per week. Sports/activities vary based on community needs. Rec League play will start in the fall.
