Driver, Linehaul

Role: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customers by driving tractor-trailers, adhering to company and safety standards.

• Transport and deliver products, load and unload per customer specifications.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Ensure food safety protocols are maintained, such as proper temperature control.
• Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and load carts.
• Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Report route deviations, equipment issues, or customer concerns to management.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work outside typical hours as needed.

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines.
• Ability to drive in various conditions, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and perform basic math and organizational tasks.

Exposure to different weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and occasional confined spaces. Requires working overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
