Document Control Technician
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, storing, archiving, and retrieving all documents and records necessary to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements. This position ensures that all departments have the latest accurate revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The role is based out of our Vandalia, Ohio facility and requires on-site work.

- Store, manage, and track the company’s documents.
- Scan, organize, and maintain documents, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, and archive records in accordance with procedures.
- Coordinate storage, archiving, and retrieval of documents and quality system records with other departments.
- Ensure the proper documents are created and signed, that all data is accurate and that documents are stored and backed up and any retention procedures are followed.
- Ensure documents meet requirements of Good Documentation Practices.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of Change Controls for Master Manufacturing Records and all other documentation.
- Track all employee training requirements and records for all departments.
- Confer with document originators to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents.
- Ensure documents meet approved format and template.
- Track and trend the effectiveness of document systems.
- Maintain all master and controlled documents.
- Archive documents.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager by collecting, maintaining, storing, and retrieving documents.
- Ensure orderly storage and expedient retrieval of all documentation.
- Good communication skills.
