Job Description:
The Architectural Drafter is responsible for handling all aspects of producing the architectural and production drawings for modular homes.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed architectural drawings including foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layout, cross sections, etc.
- Prepare detailed drawings for shop floor production showing deck layout, wall framing detail, truss layout, etc.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Architectural drafting software
- Knowledge of residential construction practices, modular home building a plus
- Knowledge of residential building codes
- Self-starter with ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and attention to detail
Job Details:
Position is in-office, Monday-Friday. Hours required will be 45 hours a week, this is an hourly position (paid OT for any hours over 40). Pre-employment drug screen.
Job Type: Full Time, 45 hours a week
