Military Fellowship Program: Logistics Specialist

Job Title

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.

The company is looking for individuals to join the SNC-led Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) team to modernize and deliver the next-generation SAOC aircraft trusted by the President, Secretary of Defense and Chairs of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to ensure continued critical command, control and communication during national emergencies.

SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as Skill Bridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD Skill Bridge program
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
• A higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
• Experience with inventory databases

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
• Haz Mat Training/Certification
• Ability to operate a Forklift
• Experience with shipping databases, such as Fed Ex, DHL, UPS
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
• Understanding of Shelf Life
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
