Pay Rate: $48.28/hr.
Start Date: Immediate
Must be able to obtain a clearance.
We are looking for a Test Engineer to simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services covering advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, highly integrated aircraft, orbital and space exploration systems. You will develop complex test plans and procedures to verify and validate all product requirements, and conduct tests using industry tools. As a cross‑functional engineer you will test system and component level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Physical,Mental, & Emotional Requirements
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.
- Frequently repeat the same hand, arm, and finger motions many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
- Rarely lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.).
- Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.
- Rarely exposed to loud noises.
- Responsible for the safety or security of people or property.
- Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles.
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity working in multi‑disciplinary design and development teams.
- Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
- Experience planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
- Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies including manual and automated testing.
- Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports to demonstrate compliance to system requirements.
- Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in generating and disposition of product non‑conformances.
- Experience performing certification testing for organizations such as FAA, NASA or DoD.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience.
