Overview
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in integrated aircraft systems, delivering end‑to‑end C4
ISR solutions for the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC).
- Provide technical leadership for mass properties calculations and analyses.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Oversee comprehensive mass properties testing and validation.
- Inventory and weigh aircraft.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Develop and implement mass properties best practices and standards.
- Foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience (higher level degree may substitute).
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with computer aided engineering tools.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
- Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, including parametric design, model‑based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics.
- Background in the aerospace and defense industry, U.S. Department of Defense and/or U.S. military.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- May require lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Work in an office, lab, hangar, or hybrid environment.
- May be required to occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
- Annual incentive pay based on performance.
