Overview
DPP is seeking a Aerospace Test Engineer II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry.

Onsite in Vandalia, Ohio
Schedule
: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm;

- As a Test Engineer
, you will simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. - You will develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure verification and validation of all product requirements. You will also execute tests using top industry tools.
- As a cross functional engineer, you will test system and component level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and system integration
- Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
- Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies including manual and automated testing
- Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, procedures, and reports to demonstrate compliance to system requirements
- Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in generation and disposition of product non-conformances
- Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e., FAA, NASA, DoD)
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience
- Environment:
Physical/Mental/Emotional requirements include frequently walking, sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and repetitive hand/arm/finger motions; may include lifting up to 25 lbs - Working conditions:
Frequently exposed to loud noises; rarely exposed to outdoor elements and to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials - Safety:
Position may be safety-sensitive and involve inspections of structures, equipment or vehicles
