Position Summary
As the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for Energizer s Global Auto Care business, you will lead manufacturing support for New Product Development initiatives, capital projects, and cost optimization efforts. Partnering closely with Operations, R&D, Marketing, and Engineering, you will help ensure products are designed for efficient, cost-effective manufacturing while driving improvements in plant performance and profitability. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and the ability to influence decisions that support business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by setting clear technical directions, ensuring strong project planning, and upholding Energizer s standards for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Influence and guide cross-functional teams—including engineering, R&D, marketing, operations, maintenance, and corporate partners to ensure alignment on project objectives and plant priorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed plans, procedures, and technical documentation to support NPD technology initiatives.
• Lead technical studies, engineering evaluations, testing, and quality assurance activities to verify performance and drive process reliability.
• Coordinate capital and plant project activities from planning through execution, including reviewing proposals, defining objectives, developing schedules, and managing contractor engagement.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and project scope.
• Perform cost‑benefit analyses, financial modeling, and scenario evaluations to support capital justification and strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor project budgets, evaluate variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver clear financial, technical, and project performance reports for the Plant Manager and other Senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, efficiency, and optimization across plant systems and processes.
• Communicate engineering, cost, and project impacts effectively across all internal teams, ensuring clarity and shared understanding.
