Exhibit Preparation Specialist

Scope of Position:
Inspect, inventory, repair, and clean (prep) trade show exhibits to ensure a faultless setup.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets all blueprints on new and existing tradeshow exhibit property.
• Works closely with the Account Manager and Exhibit Preparation Supervisor to prep exhibit property safely and on time.
• Applies general knowledge on repair techniques, laminating, the use of Bondo and simple epoxies, and paints.
• Operates safely and knowledgeably all types of basic hand tools.
• Responsible for maintaining good records concerning current and past jobs.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and preferred two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

General Skills:

• Computer Skills—To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows 7 or greater and familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability—The Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Forklift driving is a requirement (ECI certification).
• Limited travel for training as needed. /li>

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• A forklift will be used to move anything over 75 lbs.
