• Equipment installation and preventative maintenance: install and set up proprietary ALPLA equipment, conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks, perform minor modifications and adjustments to improve performance.
• Predictive maintenance: utilize predictive maintenance methodologies, such as condition monitoring and diagnostic tools, to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime or production disruptions; assess equipment health, analyze data trends, and plan maintenance actions.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose technical problems and malfunctions in molding machines; collaborate with technical experts and use advanced troubleshooting techniques to address complex issues; execute repairs independently or with guidance to restore functionality promptly.
• Facility maintenance support: contribute to general facility maintenance tasks beyond equipment‑specific responsibilities; maintain a safe and organized working environment by addressing facility‑related issues; support maintenance efforts in shared spaces.

• Performing basic‑skilled level maintenance activities sufficient to successfully perform essential duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industry.

• Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with programmable controllers.
• Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Problem‑solving and team collaboration capabilities.

• Regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, occasionally climb or balance.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk or hear.
• Occasionally sit.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 30 lbs; occasionally more than 50 lbs.
• Close vision required.
