Location:

11040 N Dixie Dr, Vandalia, OH 45377

Shift: Monday‑Friday, 4:00p.m.–2:00p.m.

Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 + up to 10% bonuses.

• Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring cube and weight of trailers.
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of switchers.
• Direct the flow of internal and external customer freight as it comes into the yard.
• Communicate and assign trailer moves throughout the terminal.
• Oversee placement and movement of tractor trailers within the lot while tracking and recovering inventory.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure company operational model compliance.
• Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.

• Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry.
• Strong leadership skills including ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees.
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service.
• High aptitude for technology.
• Ability to multi‑task while being detail oriented.
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work an average of 50hours per week.
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends and in any weather condition.
• Capable of working under tight time constraints in a high‑pressure environment with multiple priorities.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
