Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals who want to join our team as an Operations Manager. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent, engage them during shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and drive productivity and efficiency through data‑driven decisions and analytical problem‑solving.
You will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered on time, to the right location.
Our operations workflow has three major components:
First mile (product is housed and ready for order), Middle mile (the order is hauled to your area), and Last mile (the product is delivered to the customer’s door). All workflows vary slightly, but customer focus remains constant.
Work sites launch new operations sites every year, providing opportunities for professional growth. We hire Operations Managers based on location preference and current openings.
Key Responsibilities- Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce.
- Lead large‑scope projects with site and regional impact.
- Build and execute productivity plans by reviewing forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to balance load.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Collaborate with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Perform physical duties: lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach; stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts; work in environments with variable noise, temperature, and weather; climb and descend stairs (as applicable).
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience (blue badge/FTE).
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques (preferred).
The base salary range is $91,000.00 to $ USD annually for the USA, OH, Vandalia location. The compensation package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, and additional benefits such as health insurance (medical, dental, vision), prescription coverage, basic life & AD&D insurance, optional supplemental life plans, employee assistance program, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
