Overview
A Contract Quality Technician position located in Vandalia, OH. The role supports quality assurance activities for the manufacturing and distribution of medical devices, sterile processed human tissue‑based products, biologics, unprocessed human tissue, components, and labeling materials.
Shifts- 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Issue controlled documentation.
- Review batch production records and manufacturing records, ensuring they are organized, accurate, complete, and free of errors.
- Support chain of custody for bulk and labeled drug products.
- Provide QMS Operations support to all cGMP departments.
- Work within the client’s Quality Management System and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
- Perform material inspection activities, including incoming, in‑process, and finished product inspections.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of performed activities, following Good Documentation Practices.
- Ensure work is completed productively and effectively both independently and with other departments.
- Collaborate with internal customers to understand priorities in daily job activities.
- Complete training requirements as assigned.
- Collaborate with peers and management to ensure compliance with all requirements of the client’s Quality Management System, FDA regulations, international regulations (FDA 21
CFR Parts 11/210/211/1271/820, ISO 13485, AATB, NABP), and other applicable standards. - Support internal and external audits as assigned.
- HS Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree (BS in Life Sciences preferred).
- Prior experience working under GMP or GDP regulations.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, cell, or biotechnological settings is a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
This role is primarily desk‑based with frequent documentation review and use of QMS and ERP systems. It also involves regular inspection duties; the technician will occasionally enter clean rooms and laboratory environments and must be comfortable working around human tissue and related biological materials.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Vandalia, OH.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $23.00 – $24.50 per hour.
