Security Officer

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer/Driver with clearance to protect clients, staff, and assets. In this role, you will operate a security vehicle, conduct patrols, control access, and respond to alarms and incidents while maintaining strict safety and confidentiality standards. You will complete detailed reports, follow post orders, and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Conduct armed security patrols on foot and by vehicle to protect people, property, and assets
• Operate a security or transport vehicle safely while adhering to route and safety procedures
• Control access to facilities, verify identification, and monitor entry/exit points
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following established protocols
• Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports and maintain security logs
• Follow post orders, client procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times
• Maintain weapon qualifications, equipment readiness, and professional appearance
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and dispatch via radio and phone
• Monitor surveillance and security systems as required by the post assignment
• Support investigations by reporting suspicious activity and preserving evidence when needed
