Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Role Overview
We’re looking for a candidate with electrical/mechanical aptitude to help sustain a robust preventive maintenance program. This position is responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment, inspecting equipment for proper functioning, performing preventative maintenance duties per the manufacturer’s specifications, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and making repairs or adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment using Maximo software
- Repair all production equipment as needed
- Perform breakdown analysis
- Perform general housekeeping
- Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology
- Work with outside contractors on assigned line
- Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards
- Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)
- Document work schedule and tasks completed

Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ Years Industrial Mechanical/ Electrical Maintenance Experience, including troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, mechanical systems (gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings), drive components, belts, chains, clutches & brakes, pumps (troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs), and electricity & electrical systems from - 480v 3 phase - 24v control.
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
- Must adhere to all ISO Quality Standards
- Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, etc.
- Professional technical training or certificate program in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or related field.
- Pneumatics/air compression (solenoids, valves, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).
- Preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data).
- Schematics (electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).
- Product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).
- Reading mechanical drawings (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics & pneumatics).
- Electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
- HVAC systems.
- Material fabrication and welding skills.
- Basic rigging knowledge.
- Knowledge of SERVO (intelligent/robotic motors, in-coders, etc.).
- Forklift and manlift experience.
Pay starts at $25.53 per hour. This position requires work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. It requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. The position may require weekend and/or holiday work.
Additional InformationPosition may require weekend and/or holiday work. This role requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information; therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet U.S. Person status.
