Procter & Gamble is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to support high-speed, highly automated manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, packaging lines, robotics, and PLC-controlled systems to keep production running safely and reliably. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, interpret schematics, and implement reliability improvements. Working on-site with production and engineering teams, you'll help optimize line performance, document work in a CMMS, and uphold P&G's rigorous safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems to minimize downtime
- Install, calibrate, and repair sensors, drives, conveyors, and robotic systems
- Execute root-cause analysis and implement reliability improvements
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to support line performance
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS and follow P&G safety and quality standards
- Support startup, changeover, and optimization of automated manufacturing lines
