• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual and maintain uniform as scheduled.
• Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions and directing them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Report accidents, violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/

Experience:

Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.

License: Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.

DOT Medical Card: Required.

Availability: May be required to work 3rd shift and/or weekends.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read, write, and present information effectively to customers and employees.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers and amounts using U.S. money.

Appearance: Maintain neat, clean uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, using hands; occasional sitting, climbing, lifting up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available.

Salary Range: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour (plus tips). Eligible for tips in addition to posted hourly rate.
