Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) – For New CDL Graduates

Central Transport is a trusted Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier serving the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are expanding and looking for recent CDL graduates to join our team. This position is a combination of driving and dock work on dedicated home daily routes hauling freight to terminals and meet points across our network.

• Recent graduate of an accredited Tractor‑Trailer Driving School.
• Certificate of completion, transcripts, and letter of recommendation from the driving school.
• DOT physical and a completed Long Form (5 pages).
• Clean driving record.

• Operate and drive vehicles including dry vans and forklifts.
• Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

• Proficiency with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other machinery.
• Time‑management and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle various types of cargo, including hazardous materials.
