impact / How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Partner with managers and team members to address workplace matters and support constructive outcomes.
  • Act as a coach and consultant to business leaders on HR‑related choices and actions.
  • Manage the implementation of HR processes, ensuring alignment with Group practices.
  • Support performance management activities, including review cycles and development planning.
  • Collaborate with Talent Partners to maintain a strong talent pipeline for the factory.
  • Steer and execute talent initiatives such as succession planning and diversity practices.
  • Assess workplace morale and engagement, and support actions that enhance the employee experience.
  • Run discussions with local collective bargaining groups.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background / Votre profil
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven history supporting collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Experience running teams and managing HR projects.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems such as Workday, SAP, or Taleo.
  • Sound understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
