Our client, a well-established law firm
, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team.
- Process vendor payments including cheques, EFT, ACH, wires and drafts while reviewing supporting documentation for accuracy and approval
- Upload vendor files and match to invoices in the accounting system
- Process and post client charges
- Maintain financial records including scanning, filing and document retrieval
- Process personal charges and Visa / Amex expense reports
- Provide payment information and support to legal and administrative teams as required
- Participate in operational projects as needed
- Assist with reception duties occasionally
- Conduct bank runs when required
- 1–2 years of related experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience with Soluno and iManage is an asset
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of work accurately
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining strict confidentiality
