Position: (CAN) Distribution Centre Team Associate - Production Back Up Desk Clerk ( Receiving) SUN-WED DAYS
Position Summary
Responsible for the receiving, order filling and shipment of freight into and out of the DC.

What you'll do...

Ability to prioritize receiving loads and assign receiving packets

Monitoring flow of schedule PO’s and inbound loads

Assisting with general receiving process and receiving.

Resolving “problem” freight

Viewing information from computer monitor and YMS

Completing paperwork freight in general receiving area

Computer and data entry using Door Sheet Program and YMS

Exchanging paper documentation with Purchase Order Control and General Receivers

Finalizing the PO’s and BOL.

Label research and reprinting

Promoting all Walmart Safety Processes

All other duties as assigned

Use Microsoft office for data entry, and maintaining and updating sheets for daily reference

Requirements:

Associate – working well with others

Receiving Associate; learn to and be able to receive and other related functions of a Receiving Associate

Excellent organizational skills

Mathematical Skills

Comfortable with using computers and adaptable to learning new computer applications

Able to do repetitive heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds

Excellent sense of self-direction—must have the confidence and ability / experience to work with minimal supervision

High degree of flexibility as part of the requirements of a strong customer service orientation to meet internal and external customer expectations

Strong time management and prioritization skills

Display a professional demeanour

Ability to focus on procedural integrity and able to meet deadlines while working under pressure

Have no written warnings within the last year

MHE licensed or ability to obtain.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $25.34/hr.
