Lead financial management and technology strategy as Vaco by Highspring's Director of Finance and IT. This 6-month contract emphasizes strategic oversight of budgeting, compliance, and IT operations.
Vaco by Highspring is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance and IT, responsible for guiding the organization in its financial management and reporting. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership and the Board, ensuring strong stewardship of resources while driving compliance and financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Present financial results to leadership and the Board
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements and regulations
• Manage the full-cycle accounting functions and financial reporting
• Lead and develop Finance and IT teams
Requirements:
• CPA designation is required
• 8+ years in finance, with leadership experience
• Knowledge of funding models and grant reporting
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
• Strong communication skills, experience presenting to Boards
