Senior Accountant Insurance

Join an esteemed insurance company as a Senior Accountant focusing on finance automation projects and IT collaboration. This role encompasses financial statement preparation, audit assistance, and robust regulatory reporting. Our client seeks a professional who will oversee crucial finance automation efforts while ensuring the accuracy of financial systems.

You will manage account reconciliations, coordinate system closings, and support reinsurance reporting. If you have a solid foundation in accounting and compliance, apply your expertise to strengthen internal controls and contribute to strategic management initiatives.

• Oversee finance automation projects with IT teams
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy
• Manage account and bank reconciliations effectively
• Conduct audits and provide actionable recommendations
• Assist in regulatory reporting and audit preparation

• CPA, CGA, CMA, or CA designation
• 3–5 years in month‑end, quarter‑end processes
• Experience in the P&C insurance industry
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Located in Greater Toronto Area, eligible to work in Canada
