We are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 4-month contract to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving financial performance through robust FP&A support and P&L ownership.
About the Opportunity
Partner with business unit leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process for assigned P&L areas Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions and scenario planning Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders Monitor KPIs and flag risks and opportunities against budget/forecast Support month-end close, including accruals, cost allocations, and commentary Drive continuous improvement in reporting tools and processes (Excel, SAP, Vena or equivalent)
About You 3–6 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in FP&A or management accounting Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive) an asset CPA designation (or in progress) preferred Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders Business acumen & commercial thinking Analytical rigour Stakeholder management Proactive problem-solving
