Credit and Collection Specialist

Position: Credit and Collection Specialist at Master
Drive financial integrity as a Credit and Collection Specialist age with customers while applying your analytical skills and ensuring timely collections in a hybrid setting.

In this role, you will be a vital team member at Master, managing receivables and overseeing credit limits for one of Canada’s leading HVAC-R distributors. You will analyze credit reports, liaise between internal teams and clients, and independently resolve complex collection issues, all requiring a strong focus on quality communication and detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess margin increase requests

• Authorize credit-limit exceptions backed by judgment

• Collect and manage receivables in your territory

• Reconcile customer accounts promptly and accurately

• Generate insights from credit reports for decision-making

Requirements:

• Secondary education or degree in accounting or business

• Minimum 5 years in credit or collections roles

• Knowledge of accounting/ERP systems a plus

• Strong attention to detail and tact in communications

• Experience managing sensitive financial situations
