Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Sr. Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst for an 18‑month contract role. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and directing the assessment, development and execution of the pricing and revenue management strategy that supports 407
ETR revenue and volume growth targets using pricing tools and applications that allow for integrated and seamless implementation while adhering to pricing policies and guidelines. Support the Pricing & Revenue Management team in creating and implementing data‑driven pricing strategies to optimize revenue to maximize share value long‑term.
- Lead development of pricing and revenue management strategies to optimize revenue long‑term
- Lead, prioritize, develop and manage execution of revenue‑generating initiatives across the organization
- Define and operationalize the pricing and revenue management strategy for each customer segment, account type, tolling service, etc. across toll rates, promotions and the loyalty program
- Design and execute pricing study/pilots to understand the impact of market conditions, customer behavior and contractual obligations on revenue, trips and km’s travelled
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics and Business Insights teams on developing elasticity, predictive pricing behaviour, and forecasting algorithms and models to optimize revenue
- Assemble and analyze data to understand customer pricing behavior from existing 407
ETR data, external data sources and emerging sources - Undertake analysis of target customer groups (segments) for specific pricing programs and assess opportunities and strategies for marketing
- Develop recommendations and coordinate the implementation of maintenance, changes and improvements to revenue and customer related systems including SAP Convergent Charging, Salesforce, etc.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders cross‑functionally (e.g. Marketing, Customer Service, Communications, Finance, Operations, IT and Legal) on infrastructure development, strategy, initiatives, customer communications relating to revenue initiatives, toll rates, fees, promotions, etc.
- Evaluate revenue processes to identify opportunities for revenue improvements and efficiencies
- Perform ad hoc analyses for the senior executives or the board as required; and provide required data for the annual pricing audit
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience in an advanced pricing and revenue management environment ideally in the service industry leading cross‑functional pricing initiatives and developing long‑term pricing strategy.
- Prior experience building, operating and maintaining sophisticated pricing systems, including planning, developing and writing business requirements.
- Ability to understand business, shareholder and stakeholders’ issues and clearly communicate pricing insights in a way that is digestible to a non‑technical audience.
- Well‑developed business analysis, research and creative problem‑solving skills.
- Highly collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit that can work collaboratively across departments and advocate for data‑driven decision making.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Excel and SQL.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills and past experience interacting with C‑level management and shareholders.
- Strong logical and analytical reasoning abilities.
- Creative thinker who can devise novel approaches to pricing.
- Proactive, self‑driven individual capable of working independently when required.
- Strong ability to create intuitive visualizations to explain analysis, business results, objectives, etc.
