Position: General Accountant Position at Support Centre
Take on the role of General Accountant at our Support Centre in Vaughan, Ontario. This part-time position emphasizes financial accuracy, compliance, and internal service excellence.

You will be integral to the finance team, responsible for month-end close tasks, performing account reconciliations, and managing bank transactions. As a General Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy of the general ledger while supporting the Director of Finance. Your focus on detail will enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end reconciliations and journal entries

• Analyze balance sheet accounts for accuracy

• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management tasks

• Maintain asset and depreciation schedules

• Process vendor invoices and expense verification

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in a similar accounting role

• Relevant accounting or finance degree/diploma

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel with excellent communication

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities

• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
