Position: Detail-Oriented Financial Analyst Role
Join Magna as a Financial Analyst, providing financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role emphasizes collaboration and high-volume data management within a supportive team.

You will assist the Assistant Controller by creating management reports and analytical insights that drive financial performance. The position calls for individuals with strong detail orientation and excellent organizational skills, as you will gather and analyze capital expenditure data, prepare month-end journal entries, and oversee year-end audits. Leadership and communication will also play a vital role in fostering a fair work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate ad-hoc management reports and compile operational analyses

• Assemble documents related to capital expenditure and track spending

• Maintain new analytical reports and prepare journal entries

• Facilitate and support year-end audit preparations

• Promote a positive team culture and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in finance or accounting

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Intent to pursue CPA designation is a plus
