Become a key player at ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions as a Cash Application Specialist based in Vaughan, Ontario.
Your role is vital for ensuring accurate application of customer payments and smooth cash operations.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, your focus will be on maintaining precise ledgers and supporting credit management processes. With your skills in resolving payment discrepancies, you will greatly enhance the efficiency of AR operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately apply and manage acute cash application matters
• Investigate and fix unapplied cash, short pays, and deductions
• Reconcile daily cash transactions with banking reports
• Maintain documentation and records in the ERP system
• Engage in internal audits and control support
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum two years’ experience in cash application roles
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with JD Edwards beneficial
