About

the Role

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, Lankin Investments is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our fast-paced team, who will be responsible to deliver timely accounts payable duties including processing invoices, managing vendor relations, payments set up and other month end duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately review and process invoices, ensuring deadlines and cut‑off procedures are applied.
  • Execute semi‑monthly cheque run file workflow and process various types of payments including EFTs, Wires, Transfers, Cheques and Bill Payments.
  • Manage multiple accounts payable mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution for all queries.
  • Support vendor management process including set up, maintenance and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Assist team with system automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments for providing support in relation to account payable.
Qualifications
  • University or College education in business or accounting.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable process.
  • Experience processing high volume invoices in fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in Yardi or similar ERP Platform.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask as required and a constant improvement mindset identifying, assessing and improving upon areas of enhancements.
  • A professional and self‑motivated individual with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to maintain and manage relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet all deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including proficiency in intermediate excel functions (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, CONCATENATE, Pivot Tables)
  • Dedicated team player with a positive attitude and the flexibility to get the job done.
