Financial Analyst

Position: Financial Analyst at Shawflex
Take charge of financial responsibilities with Shawflex as a Financial Analyst. Focused on financial accounting, analysis, and monthly reporting, this role supports the business segment's success.

In this position, you'll engage in monthly transaction entries, balance sheet analysis, and fixed asset management. Your expertise in preparing GST, HST, and other regulatory filings will be critical. Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Analyst to ensure accurate reporting and compliance while maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end transactions in general ledger

• Perform balance sheet analysis and reconciliations

• Manage Fixed Asset Database and entries

• Remit monthly tax obligations for compliance

• Assist in quarterly and annual audits

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in general accounting roles

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required

• CPA preferred but not mandatory

• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS standards

• Proficiency in ERP systems like IFS or Onestream
