Senior Financial Analyst

Position: Senior Financial Analyst Role at Shawflex
Elevate your finance career at Shawflex as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this crucial role, you will oversee financial accounting, analysis, and compliance with industry standards.

Managing month-end closing processes and performing comprehensive balance sheet analyses will be your main focus. You will prepare regulatory tax submissions while ensuring the integrity of the financial records in the Fixed Asset Database. Collaborate with finance colleagues to resolve discrepancies and support various financial initiatives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and reconcile month-end general ledger entries

• Manage Fixed Asset entries and valuations

• Execute timely remittance for GST, HST, etc.

• Support auditing processes with accurate financial data

• Create detailed accounting process documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in accounting or finance analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required

• CPA certification preferred

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles

• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
