the Role
We are seeking a Talent Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support the full recruitment lifecycle and play a key role in attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Vaughan location.
Responsibilities- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate and property-level roles, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment guidance
- Coordinate and conduct phone screens and interviews
- Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive new-hire experience
- Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records
- Assist with employment contracts, offer letters, and background checks
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
- 2–4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems is an asset
- Experience in real estate, property management, or a multi-site organization is an asset
