Position OverviewWe Are Seeking a Motivated And Detail-oriented Human Resources Co-op Intern To Join Our Team For The Summer 2026 Term. This Is a Unique Rotational Opportunity Designed To Provide Hands-on Exposure Across Several HR Specialties. Reporting To The Talent Acquisition And Development Manager, The Intern Will Rotate Through
- HR Operations
- Talent Acquisition & Development
- Labour Relations
- HR Generalist Activities
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with HRIS data entry, reporting, and document management
- Participate in policy and process updates
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job posting, screening, and interview coordination
- Assist in planning and organizing employee training and development initiatives
- Contribute to employer branding and student recruiting events
- Support preparation for labour-management meetings
- Assist with tracking grievances, documentation, and research
- Learn how collective agreements are interpreted and applied
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives
- Help respond to general HR inquiries
- Participate in health & safety activities
- Support various projects led by the HR team
- Currently enrolled in a recognized co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn across multiple HR disciplines
- Proficient with MS Office/365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems (especially Dayforce) is an asset
COMPENSATION: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
