Position Overview

We Are Seeking a Motivated And Detail-oriented Human Resources Co-op Intern To Join Our Team For The Summer 2026 Term. This Is a Unique Rotational Opportunity Designed To Provide Hands-on Exposure Across Several HR Specialties. Reporting To The Talent Acquisition And Development Manager, The Intern Will Rotate Through

  • HR Operations
  • Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Labour Relations
  • HR Generalist Activities
What You'll Do HR Operations
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with HRIS data entry, reporting, and document management
  • Participate in policy and process updates
Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job posting, screening, and interview coordination
  • Assist in planning and organizing employee training and development initiatives
  • Contribute to employer branding and student recruiting events
Labour Relations
  • Support preparation for labour-management meetings
  • Assist with tracking grievances, documentation, and research
  • Learn how collective agreements are interpreted and applied
HR Generalist Experience
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives
  • Help respond to general HR inquiries
  • Participate in health & safety activities
  • Support various projects led by the HR team
What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college
  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn across multiple HR disciplines
  • Proficient with MS Office/365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems (especially Dayforce) is an asset

COMPENSATION: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
