Intermodal Operations Manager

Position: Intermodal Operations Manager CPKC
Take charge of intermodal operations as the Assistant General Manager with CPKC in Vaughan, Ontario. This role emphasizes safety, cost control, and continuous operational improvement.
As the Assistant General Manager, you will bring strategic leadership to both Intermodal and Automotive Operations within your designated territory. Reporting to the Vice President, you will manage escalating operational challenges and ensure efficient resource utilization. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability and development, guiding teams towards achieving operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and execution of operational policies

• Conduct capacity planning for staffing and resources

• Negotiate vendor contracts to support operational needs

• Lead safety initiatives across the terminal operations

• Manage budgets and assess variances in terminal operations
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

• Over 10 years in progressive transportation leadership

• Valid driver’s license and passport for travel

• Proficient in negotiation and stakeholder engagement

• Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement
