Role DescriptionThis is a senior, office-based role focused on supporting existing accounts and active projects.
This is not an outbound / cold-calling role and not a site-based PM role.
You will be a key point of contact for day-to-day coordination with customers and external sales reps, owning quotations, follow-ups, order processing, lead times, documentation, and routine technical support—ensuring projects move smoothly from inquiry to PO and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inbound inquiries from customers and external sales reps (pricing, lead times, project status)
- Review drawings, schedules, and project documents to confirm scope and product fit
- Prepare, revise, and issue accurate project quotations
- Proactively follow up on open quotes and keep next steps moving
- Process orders and coordinate lead times, shipping updates, and delivery timelines
- Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility
- Participate in weekly check-ins and prepare a short weekly pipeline/action report
- Provide product guidance on specs: CCT, CRI, beam angles, dimming compatibility, drivers, and installation requirements
- Support substitution packages and technical documentation (cut sheets, basic submittals)
- Identify appropriate alternates when needed (lead-time solutions, compatibility) while protecting margin and design intent
- Escalate complex technical/commercial issues internally when required
- 2+ years of experience in the architectural lighting industry (manufacturer, lighting rep agency, or lighting distributor)
- Experience with project-based quoting and lighting schedules/drawings
- Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple active projects
