Toromont Cat is looking for a Rental Sales Representative to join its team!
Pay Type: Full Time, Permanent
Compensation: Commission-based
The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.
The listed target compensation includes commissions and other variable pay components and reflects expected annual earnings. It represents just one part of our total rewards package, and additional performance‑based bonuses or other elements may also apply.

Proactively prospect and qualify new accounts from existing accounts, dormant customers, or entirely new customers, including converting competitor accountsRely on colleagues and leaders within the Toromont Cat branch to support meeting customer equipment needs, helping achieve or exceed growth targets in your marketPrepare rental sales action plans and strategies using our CRM resources and relevant branch colleagues to develop and manage pipeline opportunities from start to finishDevelop and deliver targeted presentations based on prospective customer needs (involving the Toromont Cat sales team and branch leaders when appropriate)Set up and manage the company’s information and communication systems, ensuring smooth communication and data managementMust-haves for this role:
Post‑secondary education with experience in a customer‑facing roleStrong safety mindset with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience with heavy equipmentKnowledge/experience with heavy construction equipment products and industry is an asset; heavy equipment rental industry experience is also an assetStrategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skillsEffective communication and strong interpersonal skills to interact at all levelsComputer proficiency and strong skills with Microsoft applicationsMust be willing to travel within the assigned region and beyond, as requiredAbout Toromont Cat
