Customer Service​/sales Associate

Job Summary   We are seeking a full-time, agile and customer-focused Customer Service/Sales Associate to join our promotions team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building relationships.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
Duties     Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
Assist customers with inquiries regarding merchandise, pricing, and promotions
Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays to attract customer attention
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Keep track of inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
Support team members in achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive shopping environment
Qualifications     Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or sales is preferred
Solid communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to the community served
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for cash handling transactions
Knowledge of merchandising principles and product demos is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a customer-first approach
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently as needed
Compensation and Location   Pay: $750.00-$1,150.00 per week
