Location
This role is for the GTA North rep and covers Vaughan, Newmarket, Barrie and surrounding areas. We are building a new team to support our sales channel and grocery clients.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your beverage alcohol sales career with a strong performing Canadian company. As a brand ambassador and sales rep, you will ensure the Andrew Peller portfolio is represented well on grocery aisle shelves. Responsibilities include merchandising, relationship building, selling and sales support in grocery stores across the region. If you aspire to become a Territory Manager or sales leader, this role provides the foundation.
Hours and Transportation
Hours will vary; your own car is required. You must be available for 6–8 hour shifts for an expected 20–32 hours a week or more depending on the time of year and business needs.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain product displays in store.
Distribute and ensure all approved programs and value‑adds are applied to the correct products.
Move and alter product displays, exceeding shelf presence expectations.
Ensure stores are current with assortment, promotional pricing and displays.
Sell and execute the Andrew Peller portfolio to achieve targets in applicable grocery stores.
Build and strengthen relationships with key grocery stakeholders.
Inform management of competitive activity and market changes in grocery stores.
Complete and submit Customer Reports weekly to the Key Account Manager.
Follow safe work procedures and practices and report all unsafe conditions and hazards to Leads/Manager.
Qualifications
Sales or service experience in grocery/alcohol beverage preferred.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in business is ideal.
Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability.
Proven ability to identify opportunities and act promptly, often independently.
Leadership and customer service skills including communication, product knowledge, problem solving and attention to detail.
Capacity to maintain privileged and confidential information relating to APL sales and revenue growth opportunities.
Effective time management and prioritization of results.
Flexible outside regular business hours when required.
Occasional long-distance travel required.
Full Ontario G licence.
