Job SummarySenior Director of Sales – based in Vaughan head office. Responsible for driving sales growth for the DSS, Fleming and Baron brands across Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and direct a business strategy that aligns with overall DSS and ASSA ABLOY strategies.
- Generate and analyze weekly and monthly sales forecasts to guide strategic planning.
- Identify key commercial activities and opportunities, then develop and implement business plans to ensure continued growth and improved profitability.
- Develop execution strategies and tactics to support regional plans, focusing on driving sales of new products and technologies.
- Maintain and increase sales via current channel partners while developing new channel strategies, including recruiting new partners.
- Plan and direct sales efforts across Canada through the direct sales force and sales agencies to achieve or exceed targets.
- Develop and maintain organizational culture, values and reputation in the marketplace and with staff.
- Manage the business collaboratively, promoting a consistent vision that enables the team to meet aggressive sales targets.
- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, training, talent management and individual development.
- Continuously monitor sales force performance against established metrics, ensuring progress and making course corrections when required.
- Drive a culture of accountability and results with the sales force through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
- Promote the business unit within the industry, manufacturing, trade associations and local community.
- Work in partnership with ASSA ABLOY Canada Shared Services to ensure consistent and high‑quality support.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
- Experience leading a profitable and growing business and/or running a sales organization.
- Experience in the door, hardware and/or access control industry, market and customer base strongly preferred; candidates with commercial building product sales management will be considered.
- Proven track record of performance excellence in meeting targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the capacity to achieve objectives through collaboration with others.
- Highly motivated, dynamic and proactive.
- Data‑driven decision making, skilled in interpreting sales metrics to guide strategy.
- Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable sales initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and technical aptitude.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 60% of the time.
- Ability to travel across Canada and into the U.S.

The estimated expected salary range for this role is $170,000 – $180,000 per annum.
