  • Scope of the Position

    This role is critical for the business’ success. The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) is responsible for the day-to-day account activity of electrical utilities. This position works in tandem with the Account Manager. The ISR is the champion of service, support and response time. This role has room to grow, room to learn and room to have fun. The position is based at our Vaughan Head Office.

    The Inside Sales Rep will prepare and maintain sales order master files, customer lists, direct purchase orders to site, and make routine decisions according to company policies and guidelines.

    Major Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for handling customer service requests which include – order entry, pricing, order maintenance, etc.
  • Responsible for quoting customers.
  • Duties also include checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers, and verifying prices.
  • Assist and support Account Managers with active orders and requests.
  • Deal with product-related problems that customers may have, such as defective products and the return of products.
  • Responsible for spec products for customers
  • Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management.
