As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for identifying, pitching and closing new customers within the freight brokerage space. You’ll target high-volume, strategic accounts and manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to managing the book of business, securing the deal. This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role centered on driving new business.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities- Proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities
- Cold call, network and prospect to build a strong pipeline
- Create tailored freight solutions for high-volume shippers
- Negotiate rates, close deals and oversee customer onboarding
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing and capacity
- Partner with operations to ensure a smooth transition and service delivery
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 2 years of freight brokerage customer sales experience
- 5 years of sales experience in Transportation or Third‑Party Logistics (3PL)
- A proven track record in outbound, hunter‑style sales
- Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- A high‑energy, goal‑driven mindset with a passion for results
