A leading distributor of civil construction products is seeking an Account Manager to support and grow its customer base across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. This field-focused, relationship-driven role is ideal for someone who thrives on meeting contractors, visiting job sites, and uncovering new opportunities through strong consultative engagement.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 80 active accounts, including 20 high-volume customers and 60 warm, underdeveloped accounts.
• Spend roughly 50% of time in the field visiting contractors, job sites, and project locations to build relationships and identify upcoming needs.
• Support business development by uncovering new opportunities within existing accounts and across the region.
• Collaborate closely with branch managers, inside sales, and estimators to coordinate timelines, service expectations, and bid strategies.
• Assist with estimates, pricing reviews, material lists, and ensuring seamless handoff between field and internal teams.
• Prepare and manage your own quotes, follow-ups, and pricing reviews.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates to track opportunities, bids, and project milestones.
• Manage POs and coordinate with operations to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales within construction, industrial distribution, or related sectors.
• Experience selling to Contractors in the construction industry is a MUST
• Strong relationship-building skills paired with a hunter mentality.
• Comfortable spending approximately 50% of the time in the field, engaging with contractors.
• Hands-on approach to quotes, estimates, pricing, and project coordination.
• Experience with CRM or project management tools.
• Proven success in managing and growing existing accounts, including re-engaging underdeveloped customers.
